I am a second grade teacher turned stay at home mama.  I am a wife to my husband, Gabe, and mother to our three children.  We recently transplanted from the cornfields of Illinois all the way to the mountains, rivers and oceans of Washington.

A few years ago a friend asked me what one gift I wished I had.  I answered, "I'd love to be able to be gifted in taking photos."  I decided to just do it!  I picked up my camera daily, snapping photos of my kids and my family.  Before I knew it, I started having people request me to take photos of their families, their precious babies, and even a wedding. Before I knew it, I had a business I had made out of my dream.

I love people. It is my honor to spend time with you, make you laugh, feel comfortable, and capture your stories--your precious, irreplaceable memories--in still frames.

My greatest hope is that I'm a not just a photographer, but a friend, who helps you find beauty and great treasure in what you already have--in who's right there holding your hand, pulling at your shirt tail, or waking up beside you each morning.   I hope that through my photos you can take a deep breath--a break from the world spinning along too quickly--and remember the importance of every moment.  I hope that you look back on your photos three days later, six months later, ten years later and you heart flutters with love and gratitude.
